A Message From Pastor Doug
Diversity
Until recently, diversity meant simply “variety” or “difference”. But now our culture defines diversity as the inclusion of individuals representing more than one national origin, race, religion, socioeconomic strata, and (especially) sexual orientation. Diversity is a euphemism for “Anything goes, society must accept us, and our behavior is protected with civil right status.” It is the banner under which the Godless attempt to rid themselves of the stain of sin. That banner is a delusion. Man can be deceived but God cannot and God is not mocked.
The stain of sin can only be removed by the blood of Jesus Christ. Genuine inclusion, the reconciliation of man to God and God’s heart and man’s heart being in union, cannot come by man re-defining as good what God calls evil, but by agreeing with God about good and evil and repenting of what God calls evil by turning to what God calls good. Genuine inclusion comes by surrender, not by defiance.

We Are So Glad Your Here
Bring The Whole Family
We believe that God's Word is for all ages. We have age-appropriate classes nursery, pre-school, elementary, middle school and high school children. If you are more comfortable with bringing them with you into the adult service on your first visit, we understand.
OUR SERVICES
In our adult services, we focus on a personal relationship with the Lord through worship and prayer and the teaching of the Word of God. We teach the Bible, the entire counsel of God from Genesis to Revelation, in an expository manner, verse-by-verse to get the context and the plain meaning of what God is saying to us. We do not allow speaking loudly in tongues or the interpretation of those tongues if there is a Bible study in progress. We believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit are operational today, but we believe that God will not interrupt Himself.
MINISTRIES
MEN
This ministry exists to worship Jesus Christ and challenge the men to be effective disciples of Jesus Christ in all areas of their lives. To this end, the men meet regularly to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ through worship, prayer, study of God’s Word, fellowship, and Biblical accountability.
For times and days see below.
WOMEN
It is our desire that the Women’s Ministry of Calvary Ahwatukee encourage the Women to be students of God’s Word. As wives, mothers, sisters and daughters, we need God’s perspective and strength to face the challenges of everyday life. Matthew 6:33 says, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you”.
For times and days see below.
CHILDREN
It is our desire and privilege to assist parents guide the Lord’s littlest
ones to fall in love with Jesus Christ, to call upon Him as Lord and Savior,
and to grow in their knowledge of Him.
Our prayer is that each child, by faith, will develop a personal relationship with
Jesus Christ.

YOUTH
It is our desire that this generation of believers would be equipped with and grounded in the Word of God. It is our desire that they would bring glory to the Risen Savior through their actions toward believers and unbelievers alike.

Bible Reading Plans
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
2 Timothy 2:15
-
This schedule is primarily for reading purposes. It is not intended to replace your personal study time in the Word for specific topics or studies.
If you follow it you will have gone through the Bible in a year. -
Keep this reading schedule inside your Bible and seek a time and place of quiet to study the Word.
Ask the Holy Spirit to guide and teach you as you study the Word.
Remember two principles when reading: “The Bible interprets the Bible,” and always ask, “Where is Jesus in this passage.” -
The Blue Letter Bible hosts a range of study materials designed to aid your research into the meaning and purpose of the Scriptures. From text commentaries to audio sermons, to charts, outlines, images, and maps—our goal is to offer you fresh avenues of insight and clear paths to a better, more robust interpretation of God's Word.
